New York State Police from Poughkeepsie barracks said they observed a 2007 Nissan Altima commit a traffic violation and pulled the vehicle over in LaGrange.on Sunday, Jan. 27 around 3:45 a.m.
Upon further investigation, police discovered a 17-year-old in possession of approximately 4.6 grams of cocaine and 1.2 grams of marijuana. The teen was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
The suspect was arraigned in the town of LaGrange Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
